This has unintentionally become somewhat of a travel blog. That's not really my intention of the blog, but, it is what it is!
Last weekend we went to Vegas to celebrate our 7th anniversary (7 years flew by, I don't feel old enough to have been married 7 years)! It has always been on my bucket list to stay in the Bellagio in a room overlooking the fountains, and Matt made it happen.
That's the view from our 26th floor room. Awesome!
We didn't take a ton of pictures on our trip. We spent the weekend sleeping in, laying out at the pool, shopping, watching the fountains endlessly from our hotel room, and eating delicious food. We also saw Ka at the MGM, which was amazing.
Street view of the fountains. We just had to see how they compared on the street to our view from our room. We decided they are just fun to see either way!
This is supposedly the world's largest chocolate fountain. It's at one of the cafe's in the Bellagio. You can even buy the chocolate from it. We had breakfast here one day, and ended up getting free chocolate covered strawberries because we had to wait for our food so long (because someone else took it)! The chocolate strawberries were definitely worth the wait.
Just exploring the City Center. What girl wouldn't love a giant shoe?
Our last night in Vegas we ate at the Sugar Factory, a restaurant in the Paris hotel. This is our dessert. A giant red velvet sundae. It was delicious.
It was a great anniversary weekend!
